This certifies that Berthalea Liddell was examined according to law, and that 
her papers written on that day, and now on file in this office, entitle her a 
First Grade License with the per cent on each subject as marked below:

Upon satisfactory evidence that she possesses a good moral character, aptness 
to teach and ability to govern, I hereby authorize her to teach in the Public 
schools of Neshoba County for a period of 1 year from date of this 
examination.

Additional Comments:
I have the original of the above Teachers License which was awarded to my 
Grandmother, Bertha Leah Liddell in 1928.  I also have the first Teachers 
License she received in 1927 and will post that at a later date. She was born 09 
Oct 1910 in Union County to Ada Pulley Liddell and William Benjamin Liddell.
