Deed Book 11, page 621-622. James O. Westbrook } Deed of Gift } Frances Westbrook } State of Mississippi Oktibbeha County. Know all men by these presents, That I JAMES O. WESTBROOK of the State of Texas for and consideration of the love and affection which I have and bear of and to my Mother FRANCES WESTBROOK of the town of Starkville State of Mississippi and for other good considerations have given granted and assigned & do hereby give grant and assign unto my sd Mother FRANCES WESTBROOK all my right interest and claim of, in & to the Estate of my deceased Father MOSES F. WESTBROOK in the hands of CHARLES A. JORDAN as Administrator and hereby authorize and empower my said mother to demand receive and & receipt for in my name for her use as her property all my distributive share or portion of said estate hereby giving granting and assigning to my said mother all monies closes in action effects and property of every description accruing and belonging or that may accrue and belong to me as one of the distributees of my deceased Father MOSES F. WESTBROOK estate. And for any such distributive portion or share of said estate as may be received by my said Mother this receipt or accquitance will be good to the said administrator C. R. Westbrook To} Deed Gift Frances E Westbrook This Deed Witness, That we the undersigned heirs at law of M. F. WESTBROOK deceased and children of his widow FRANCES WESTBROOK for the love we bear to & for our said Mother and also for valuable considerations have given granted released and conveyed & do hereby release & convey unto our said Mother FRANCES WESTBROOK and her assigns forever all of our respective rights title & estate whatever whether present or future of in & to a certain parcel of ground by lying and and extending immediately back and north of the Office Lot of O. F. Miller in the Town of Starkvile County of Oktibbeha State of Mississippi in extent or area fourteen next north of said Miller’s lot by nineteen feet east & west being parcel of the lot on which said Frances E. Westbrook resides designated in the plan of said Town as Lot No. Nine (9) Block No. Seven (7) as Witness our hand and seal this the 14th day of October 1857. John L. Westbrook [Seal] T. W.
