James Herndon officiating. Burial will follow in the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Kaiser was born Feb. 20, 1917, in Starkville, the daughter of C. C. Bardwell and Elizabeth Randle Bardwell. She was a graduate of Starkville High School in 1935 and Mississippi State University in 1939. She was a member of Daughters of American Revolution, life member of Natchez Junior Auxillary, Pilgrimage Garden Club, Vicksburg Engineers Club Auxillary, Vicksburg Hospital Auxillary and the Zeta Tau Kappa Sorority. Mrs. Kaiser was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert M. Kaiser; her parents; and sisters, Evelyn Bardwell Long and Cecile Bardwell Brown. Survivors include children, Dr. John Robert Kaiser and wife, Ruth of Williamsburg, Va. and Marian Kaiser Smith and husband, David M. Smith of Franklin, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Andrew Kaiser and Elizabeth Kaiser of Williamsburg, Lesley Smith of Franklin, Michael Smith and wife, Janet Smith of Franklin, Tenn.; one great-grandson, Austin Joseph Smith of Franklin; one brother, William Bardwell of Starkville. Pallbearers will be Gary Bardwell, Buster Wilkins, Jim Blough, Bobby Smith, Edward Brown, Hank Smith and Billy Key Smith. Memorials may be sent to Jefferson Street United Methodist Church or a charity of choice. The family invites their friends to join them for a reception and lunch at the Jefferson Street United Methodist Church christian life center immediately after the interment.
