Visitation is 1 p.m. Tuesday at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb, until services there at 3 p.m. The Rev. Harold Gartman will officiate. Burial will be in Rushing Cemetery in Tylertown. Mrs. Etheridge was born Feb. 7, 1937, in Tylertown. She was the daughter of Walter Dave Etheridge and Bernice Crawford Etheridge. She was a bookkeeper. She was a member of First Baptist Church in McComb. Mrs. Etheridge was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wilkie Dave Etheridge; and two sisters, Bernell Etheridge Height and Glenda Etheridge. Survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Cloy and Mable Etheridge of Baton Rouge, La., Clarence and Janice Etheridge of McComb, and Harold Etheridge of Maurepas, La.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Willeen and Larry O’Quin of River Ridge, La., and Jean Fortenberry Clark and Lenard Clark of Meridian; a sister-in-law, Shirley Bellevue Etheridge of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
