Coleman to Baptist Church Lot 27, S. W. 1/4, Section 33 Township 9, Range 3 East In consideration of five dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged we, Daniel T. Coleman and C.A.Coleman, his wife, do grant, bargain, sell and convey to the Deacons of the Baptist Church in Pontotoc and their successors in office the following lands, known and described as lot No. 27 of the S. W. 1/4 Section 33, Township Nine, Range Three East of the basic meridian, according to the plan of survey of the Chickasaw Cession -- Mississippi. To have and to hold forever in fee simple. The said Daniel and C. A. Coleman covenant that they are sized and possessors of said land, and will warrant and defend the title to the said Deacons of the said Church against the claim of all persons whatsoever. In which whereof we have signed, sealed and delivered this deed the 29th day of August A. D. 1854. Daniel T. Coleman C. A. Coleman State of Mississippi Pontotoc County Personally appeared before me, D. I. Pitts, Clerk of the Probate Court of said County, the above named Daniel T. Coleman and C. A. Coleman his wife, who severally acknowledged that they signed, sealed and delivered the above deed on the day and year therein mentioned as their own act and deed, the said C. A. Coleman on a private examination separate and apart from her said husband acknowledged that she signed sealed and delivered said deed as her voluntary act and does freely without any fear, threat or compulsion of her husband given under my hand and the seal of said Court at my office this 29 August 1854.
