Dear Children I once more take the pleasure to write you a few lines to let you know that we are both as well as could be expected and all the connection is well. I hope when these lines come to hand they will find you and your children in good health. I received your kind letter dated the 19th of March. It came to hand the 26th of April. I was very glad to hear from you and to know that you were well, for this was the first letter I have had since last November. I have written you three since that time. I have had no letter from the boys since last fall. I don't know where they are. They were living in Arkansas the last account. I would be glad to hear where they are. You wrote to me you had been to West Texas and you did not like it and you came home and bought land. I want to see you buy bad and if I live I am coming to Texas this fall if I think I can stand the trip. I expect I shall go to Denton County. Old John White is living there and is well pleased. He writes that there is plenty of good water and good water mills and good health. He located good land. It only cost him $25.00 per acre and he got a title. Willis has sold his land and says he is going to look at Texas this summer. Younger want to sell is he can. He says he will move to Louisiana or Texas. I think he will sell soon. Willis bought two negro men. He gave $2,450 for them. Mat and Ivey are coming. Bill wants to come, but I don't think he will be able. I want you to write the price of groceries and how the situation is on mills. I am living at the Rogers place. Before cold weather sets in I am determined to move if I can. They all want to come. The connection is all well. Wm. Bugg and Nancy Bugg Hope someone can make a connection to this family. ====================================================================      USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing          free information on the Internet, data may be used by          non-commercial entities, as long as this message          remains on all copied material.
