Charlie Marion Morgan was born 16 April 1869 in the Dry Creek Community of 
Tippah County to Nathan Alexander & Mary Ann Harris Patterson Morgan. He first 
wed Leatha Parks on Christmas Day of 1895. He and Leatha had two daughters, 
Lois born 13 November 1896 and Gladys born 2 September 1903. Leatha died 5 May 
1910 and is buried at the Morgan Cemetery near Dry Creek, Tippah County, Ms.
Charlie next married Lillie Mae Hill Wallis on 14 November 1915 in Prentiss 
County, Ms. They had the following children: Charlie Wendell 24 April 1916, 
Thurmon Wade 12 September 1917, James Martin 13 August 1919, Syble Mae 27 
February 1921, Wallis Hill 27 October 1923 and Irven Milton 19 February 1926.
Charlie Marion died 16 March 1953 at Baldwyn, Ms. and is buried beside Lillie 
at Ingram Cemetery Prentiss County, Ms.
