McAllister Wicks and Maggie Clatyon Wicks. She was called to rest on Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at 9:15 PM in the MICU at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. At an early age, she united with the Little Zion Methodsit Church, where she served as secreary and served on the Usher Board. Later she reunited with Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she faithfully devoted her time serving as a Mother of the church and an active Usher until her health failed. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory: a very loving, fathiful and devoted husband, L.C. Macklin; one daughter, Faye(Willie)Gilbert of Tuscola, MS; two sons Wayne(Naomi)Payton of Byram, MS and Louis(Carol)Macklin of Pelahatchie, MS. Four sisters: Minnie Mae Atkins, Annie Rose Brooks and Ella (Eddie) Nichols of Chicago, IL and Augusta Hobson of Pelahatchie, MS. Two sisters preceded her in death, Linda and Emma Wicks; four brothers, George (Eulene) Wicks of Milwaukee, WI, Otis Charles (Betty) Wicks of Oakland, CA, David (Lola) Wicks of CArson CA and Dallas (Matiel) Wicks of Fayette, MS; ten grandchildren, two great grand children, a host of in-laws, neices, nephews, cousins and friends. Active Pallbearers - Robert Williams, Joseph Tate, Willie Norwood, Charles Harvey, Willie C. Ragsdale and Shawn Irving. Honorary Pallbearers - Wayne Payton, Louis Macklin, Willie Gilbert, George Collier, Larry Wicks, Johnny Wicks. Service - Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church 193 Mary Craps Road Leesburg, MS Rev.
