Wm D. Eastland		Filed for record this 6th day of February 1849
        To						A Eastland  Clerk
D.R. Jones		This indenture made this fifth day of February in the 
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine by and between 
William D. Eastland of the County of Scott in the State of Mississippi of the 
first part and David R. Jones of the County and State aforesaid of the second 
part.  Witnesseth;  That the said party of the first part for and in 
consideration of the sum of Ten dollars to him in hand paid by the party of the 
second part the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged;  I the 
said William D Eastland party of the first part have remised released and 
forever quit claim, and by these presents do remise, release and forever quit 
claim unto the said David R. Jones party of the second part his heirs and 
assigns, all my right title and interest in and to the following described 
tract or parcel of land lying situate and be in the County of Scott and State 
of Mississippi known and designated as the South East quarter of section three 
and the East half of East half of section twenty eight all in Township five of 
Range seven East to have and to hold the same together with all the privileges 
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, to him the 
said David R. Jones his heirs and assigns forever – 
	In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal 
the day and year first above written.

The State of Mississippi
	Scott County			Personally appeared before me Alfred 
Eastland Clerk of the Probate Court in and for said County the within named 
William D. Eastland who acknowledged that he signed sealed and delivered the 
above Deed on the day and year and for the purposes therein mentioned as his 
official act and deed – 
Given under my hand and seal of office at Hillsboro this 6th day of February AD 
1849
The State of Mississippi				Alfred Eastland  Clerk
	Scott County			I Alfred Eastland Clerk of the Probate 
Court in and for said County do hereby certify that the foregoing Deed and 
certificate of acknowledgement and this certificate of record are truly 
recorded in my office in Book of Deeds E Page 58 – 
				Given under my hand and seal of office at
				Hillsboro this 6th day of February 1849 –
