Sale April 8th 1844				Scott County
			I Jeremiah B. White tax Collector of the Said County of 
Scott, have this day according to law sold the following tract of land, to 
wit;  the SE ¼ & N ½  of NE ¼ - E ½ of NW ¼ Sec 15 – SW ¼ of SE ¼ Sec 10 – N1/2 
of SW ¼ Sec 14 – SW ¼ & NW1/4 Sec 22 – W ½ of SW ¼ Sec 25 – W ½ of SE ¼ & W ½ 
of NE ¼ Sec 26 – E ¼ of NW ¼ & SW ¼ Sec 26 – W ½ of NE ¼, E ½ of SW ¼ & NW ¼ 
Sec 27 T.5 R.8E in said County as the property of Garland & Shelton for the 
taxes due thereon for the year 1843 to wit; the sum of twenty nine & 60/100 
dollars when Alfred Eastland & John J Smith being the best bidders at the sum 
of thirty one & 8/100 dollars.  I then and there sell and convey said land to 
Alfred Eastland & John J Smith their heirs, executors, administrators and 
assigns forever
		Given under my hand and seal this eighth day of April AD 1844
