James Monroe GOODWIN was born on 29 Sep 1937 in Forest, Scott County, MS and 
died on 17 May 1991 at Hattiesburg Country Club, Hattiesburg, Forrest County, 
MS.  He was the son of Wilbur Russ GOODWIN and Thelma SAMPSON.  He was educated 
at Forest High School and Mississippi College.  He owned an insurance agency 
and was a director of the Farmers and Merchants Bank.
