Additional Comments:

Jane Chaney was born about 1740 (according to one source) in Virginia, died 1828
Simpson County, Mississippi. Her eadstone states otherwise. Jane married John
Kennedy in about 1770 in South Carolina. Some sources say Jane is a daughter of
Granberry Chaney.
