Correspondence Of The Louisville Courier
We have just consigned to his last resting place, private P.M. Ellington, of
Colonel Statham's 15th Mississippians, who died this morning of Typhoid Fever.
He was buried with military honors by the 11th Tennessee, his own regiment being
at another post. He died in the hope of a blissful immortality.

The Louisville Daily Courier (Louisville, Ky.), Friday, Nov. 22, 1861, p. 2,
col. 1. This section of the newspaper has the following title: [Correspondence
of the Louisville Courier] Letter from Cumberland Gap... Cumberland Gap, Nov.
