s YOUNG LADY ON WAY TO SEE SISTER KILLED IN 
WRECK NEAR BOND
   Miss Florence Bailey, a popular young lady of Long Beach,
was fatally injured in an automobile accident near Bond, Miss.
Saturday afternoon while en route to Hattiesburn to visit
her sister, Mrs. A. B. Cook, Matron of Hattiesburg Hall at
the State Teachers College.
   The accident was caused by the car swerving into loose
gravel, throwing Miss Bailey out of the car and against
a clay abuttment.
   As quickly as possible she was placed back in the car and
the return trip was started, to the Gulfport hospital, but 
Miss Bailey passed away before the hospital was reached.
