Last Will of W.G. Sheley: The State of Mississippi} Tallahatchie County } In The name of God Amen. I W.G. Sheeley of the County and state aforesaid being of sound mind and memory are understanding do make publish declair this my last will and testament in form following to wit-I give my body to the dust and my soul to God who gave it. My property and worldy estate I dispose of as follows. Item 1st-My will and desire is that all my just debts shall be paid out of my Estate. 2--I desire that my son A.C.N. Sheely shall have full control over my Estate both Real and Personal. And I do by these present nominate commit and appoint my said son A.C.N. Sheley sole Executor of this my last will & testament. 3-I desire that my son A.C.N. Sheley Executor of this my last will shall execute my two minor children to said Lucy B. & Franklin P. Sheeley and all expenses necessary incured in educating them to be paid out of my Estate-4- I desire that my son A.C.N. Sheeley shall take care of my beloved wife Hannah Sheeley & see that she suffers for nothing the expenses of such to be paid out of my Estate and I desire that my son A.C.N. Sheley be paid compensation for his trouble in attending to my Estate. 5th- And after all Expenses are pain and my youngest child arrives of age I desire that my Estate both real and personal shall be divided equally among the children of my body-subject to the following deductions to wit; From my son A.C.N. Sheeley first seven hundred dollars which I have given him heretofore and set off to him, from my son William W. Sheeley paid Nine Hundred dollars, from my son James M,. Sheeley part Seven hundred dollars -and from my son Robert B. Sheeley part seven hundred dollars which they have received & I have heretofore given off to them since they have all become of age and maintance.-6th- I give to and bequeath to my son Franklin P. Sheeley my gold watch not to be charged to his part of my Estate which an equal distribution is made and that my son A.C.N. Sheeley retain and keep said gold watch until Franklin P. arrives of age at which time he will be entitled to take it into his own possession. 7th- It is my will & desire that my son A.C.N Sheeley aforesaid shall not be required to make annual statements with the Probate Court of this County, and respectfully acquire of said Court not to require annual statements of him, as it is entirely unnecessary the way my Estate is Placed. Sheeley The State of Mississippi} Tallahatchie County } In the matter of a certain instrument of writing, purporting to be the last will and testament of Wm G. Sheeley late of said County deceased. Bee it remembered that on the 9th day of March A.D. 1870 personally appeared before the undersigned Clerk of the Probate Court of said County A.C. Fonda, R.W. Laughlin, and John T. Neeley subscribing witnesses to a certain instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Wm. G. Sheeley late of said county being dated January 8th D 1870. Who having first been duly sworn deposed and said that said William G. Sheeley signed sealed published and declared said instrument as his last will and testament in the presence of these deported on the day of the date thereof that said testator was then of sound disposing mind and memory and more than Twenty one years of age and that these deponents subscribed said instrument witnesses which at the instance and request and in the presence of said testator and also in the presence of Each other on the day & year aforesaid.
