W.D. ASTON, DEAD

Mr. W.D. Aston, one of the oldest men in the county, died at his home west of 
Blue Mountain on Tuesday of last week. Mr. Aston was nearly 81 years of age and 
had been a cripple ever since he was eighteen month old when the nurse dropped 
him and ruined one of his limbs. Mr. Aston's remains were laid to rest at the 
Shady Grove Cemetery* last Wednesday.

*this is contrary to death certificate which shows burial at Flat Rock
