BIXLER. Page 176 A notice of protest given on the day that a note falls due is sufficient. OPINION OF THE COURT—By THE HON. POWHATTAN ELLIS. Trespass on the case on a note endorsed by defendant to plaintiff. The note was presented on the day when it became due, and payment refused. Notice was given immediately,—and we are all of opinion the defendant was not entitled to three days grace. He had reasonable notice. Judgment affirmed. Note. — See contra 1. Esp. R. 261, &c.
