Deed between William H. Martin & wife to Joseph McCarty

Be it known that I William H. Martin and Nancy Martin of the State of 
Mississippi and County of Wayne for and in consideration of the sum of 
two hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Joseph McCarty of the State 
of Alabama County of Washington at and before the sealing and signing 
these presents the receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged 
have bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and I do hereby 
bargain sell enfeoff and confirm unto the said Joseph McCarty his heirs 
and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being 
as follows, to wit: A lot No. 4 that was drawn by as the heirs of John 
Armstrong dec’d Fraction six & seven in Township Eleven and Range one 
West.  Beginning at a stake running South forty-seven degrees west to 
the river then running from the same stake N. seventy four degrees west 
to the river thence down the meanders of the river to a sweet gum where 
the lower line strikes said river the whole containing sixty two and 
three fourths of an acre to have and to hold said piece or parcel of 
land with all ways, woods, waters and every other thing thereunto 
belonging or appertaining to the said Joseph McCarty his heirs and 
assigns forever and we for ourselves and our heirs, executors and 
administrators do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Joseph 
McCarty his heirs and assigns that we by ourselves and our heirs, 
executors and administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend 
the said piece or parcel of land...
