H. Giles, age 72 years, occurred at the home of her son here Saturday afternoon after a short illness. Mrs. Giles became ill only a few days before she died and her death came as a great shock to her many friends as well as loved ones. She is survived by three sons, J. G. and Stanton of this county and Larkin Giles of Bolinger, Ala. and two daughters, Mrs. S. W. Holston of Ellisville and Mrs. N. D. Holston of Abilene, Texas. Mrs. Giles was a devout Christian woman, joining the Baptist church at an early age. The body was laid to rest at Isney, Ala., Sunday with Rev. R. G. Joiner, pastor of the Waynesboro Baptist church, in charge of the services. Additional Comments: Elizabeth was born 10-1-1858 to James "Jim" Lee and Elizabeth Ann Gilder Lee. Her husband was James H. Giles. All are buried in the Isney cemetery.
