Highway Patrol Lt. B. D. Velasco said Presley's truck overturnd while he was attempting to pass another truck. The truck belonged to J. D. Moore Transfer and Storage of Abilene, where Presley was employed. He was driving to Los Angeles, Calif. The bodies will be flown back to Abilene Monday by Elliott's air service. Joint rites will be 10am Tuesday at Elliot's Chapel of Memories with the Rev. C. C. Ehler, pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church and Brother Nelson, pastor of the Elmdale Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Holston will be buried in Cedar Hill cemetery, followed by the burial of Mr. Presley in Winters Lutheran Church Cemetery. Presley, whose home address was 3158 S. 16th St. moved to Abilene from Runnels County nine years ago. He served in the Korean War and was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church. Mrs. Holston, the wife of Lester Holston of 1409 Ballinger, was born in 1913 in Abilene. She was a member of the South Side Baptist Church. Presley's survivors include his wife, Louise; one daughter, Kathryn Sue, 4, and a son, Lester Eual, 3; his mother, Mrs. Ernest Presley of Abilene; nine sisters, Mrs. Lucille Falge, Mrs. Eddie Seelkie, Mrs. Bill Claxton and Opal, Linda, and Judy Presley of Abilene, Mrs. Thurman Hobbs and Dorothy Mae Presley of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Bill Bratton of Irving; and two brothers, Alva Gene Presley of Pittsburg, Pa. and Donnie Lee of the home. Mrs. Holston's survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Presley, Mrs. Barbara Ann Smith of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Glenda Sue Mitchell and Patricia Kay Holston of the home; six sisters, Mrs. Fay Hedges, Mrs. Lucille Cleckler, Mrs. Bennie Hubbard, Mrs. Annie Ruth Franklin, Mrs. Helen King, and Mrs. Buddy Bryant, all of Abilene; and two brothers, Mack Byram and W. A. Byram of Abilene. Additional Comments: Lonita was born 8-21-1913 to William Aubrey Byram and Maude Mae Payne Byram. Her husband was Noel Lester Holston.
