                             Mrs. Mattie May Jenkins
 Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie May Jenkins, 87, were held Saturday from the 
Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. J. W. Williams in charge. Interment was in 
the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Freeman Funeral Home directing.
 Mrs. Jenkins, a resident of Rt. 4 Waynesboro, and a native of Wayne County, 
passed away August 24, 1972. She was a memebr of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
 Survivors include two stepsons, Delmar Jenkins of Quitman and Rex Jenkins of 
Texas; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Beatrice Wing of New York; a brother, Ben F. 
Busby of Artesia; a sister, Mrs. D. H. Coxwell of Waynesboro; and a number of 
nieces and nephews.

Additional Comments:
Mattie was born 5-1-1885.
