                              Howard Wayne Lee
 A veteran of World War II, Howard Wayne Lee, 64, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 1984, 
at his residence on Route 1, Buckatunna. A farmer, Mr. Lee was a member of 
Buckatunna Baptist Church. He was a native of Wayne County.
 Funeral services were held from Buckatunna Baptist Church on Jan. 26 with the 
Rev. T. O. Traylor and the Rev. Roy Garrison officiating. Interment followed 
in Buckatunna Cemetery with Freeman Funeral Home directing.
 Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Vash Lee of Buckatunna; two daughters, Dixie 
Cooper and Brenda Blakney, both of Buckatunna; two sisters, Violet Flanagan 
and Daisy Douglas, both of Buckatunna; and four grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
Howard was born 3-16-1919 to William Preston Lee and Pearl Batson Lee.
