                                 LOCKE
 Lt. Col. Robert Lee Locke, Ret.----A native of Chicora, MS. and a longtime 
resident of Mobile County, Alabama, died at a local hospital on Saturday, 
March 2, 1996. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He was the ROTC 
Instructor at Satsuma High School for 10 years, a veteran of World War II and 
the Korean War, and a lifetime member of VFW Post No. 49. He is survived by 
his wife, Mrs. Ella M. Locke of Chickasaw, Al.; one daughter, Mrs. Beverly 
(Herbert) Fuqua of Chickasaw, Al.; four sons, Mr. Robert M. (Nancy) Locke of 
Kingsport, TN., Mr. Judson A. (Regena) Locke of Gulf Shores, Al., Mr. Keith I. 
Locke of Theodore, Al., and Mr. William G. (Cindy) Locke of Kingsport, Tn.; 
one sister, Mrs. Beverlyn West of Fairhope, Al.; one brother, Mr. Ralph C. 
Locke of Mobile, Al.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 
nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the 
chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 5, 1996 at 10:00am followed by 
a graveside service and interment at 11:00am. Visitation will be at the 
funeral home on Monday, March 4, 1996 from 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers, 
memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 1419 Government St., Mobile, 
Al. 36604. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements 
by Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, Al.

Additional Comments:
Robert was born 1-7-1919 to Judson A. "Jake" Locke and Mary Gertrude "Gertie" 
Lee Locke.
