                               LOCKE SR.
 Mr. Ralph Charles Locke Sr., a native of Chicora, Mississippi and a longtime 
resident of Mobile, Alabama died in a local hospital on Tuesday, July 15, 
1997. He was a well known and respected Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer 
in Mobile and Tuscaloosa and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. 
He is survived by two daughters, Claudia Hartley (Tim) O'Rourke and Mary Lee 
Dowey, both of Mobile; two sons, Ralph C. (Maureen) Locke Jr. of Columbus, 
Ohio and Robert Paul (Louise) Locke of Mobile; one sister, Beverly West of 
Daphne, Alabama; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces, 
nephews, and other relatives. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 
18, 1997 at 12 noon at Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials 
may be made  Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1621 Boykin Blvd., Mobile, 
Al. 36605. Funeral arrangements by Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street 
Extension, Mobile, Al.

Ralph was born 4-1-1913 to Judson "Jake" A. Locke and Mary Gertrude "Gertie" 
Lee Locke.
