Jenkins Aug. 2, 1954 - July 21, 2001 Services for Janie W. Jenkins, 46, of Woodville, who died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Clearmount Baptist Church with Pastor John H. Emery officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Memorial Park under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home. Visitation is from 3 to 9 p.m. with an Order of Eastern Star Service at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Mrs. Jenkins was born Aug. 2, 1954, in Adams County, the daughter of the Rev. Robert L. and Nancy C. White. She was educated at North Natchez High School and Co-Lin Community College, a Baptist and a member of Queen Esther Chaptier No. 1 Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, Benjamin L. Miles; two daughters, Tammy L. Thomas of Woodville and Sylvia L. White of Norfork, Va.; her parents, Nancy C. and the Rev. Robert L. White Sr.; three stepsons, Demitri Williams of Zachery, La., Kendrick Brown of Woodville and Benjamin Miles Griffin of Pacokeu, Fla.; six sisters, Dorothy M. Minor, Lydia and her husband, Anthony Seals, Gwendolyn White, Deloris D. White, Charlene Jones and Nancy A. White, all of Natchez; four brothers, Robert L. White Jr., the Rev. Michael A. and his wife, White of Port Gibson, Edward R. White and Walter L. White of Natchez; four brothers-in- law, Avondale Jackson of Baton Rouge, La., Trevor Jackson of Greenwood, Lloyd Miles, Delton Jackson and Jorlyn Jackson, all of Woodville; two sisters-in-law, Levorne Dalton and Lovern Miles of Baton Rouge; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
