Olivia James

Sept. 4, 1910 - Nov. 25, 2000

WOODVILLE - Services for Olivia James, 90, of Woodville, who died Saturday, 
Nov. 25, 2000, in New Orleans, will be at noon Saturday at St. Matthews Baptist 
Church, with the Rev. Allen Scott officiating.

Burial will be at St. Matthews Cemetery at Woodstock Plantation, under the 
direction of Willliams & Williams Funeral Home.

Mrs. James was born Sept. 4, 1910, in Woodville, the daughter of Horace Lewis 
and Amelia Parker.

She was a housewife, a member of the St. Matthews Church Usher Board, the St. 
Matthews Church Mother's Board and a past president of the State Usher League.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Delia Ellison of Chicago and Eleanor Walker of 
New Orleans; one sister, Lucille Davis of New Orleans; seven grandchildren; 15 
great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
