Allen Scott officiating. Burial will be at St. Matthews Cemetery at Woodstock Plantation, under the direction of Willliams & Williams Funeral Home. Mrs. James was born Sept. 4, 1910, in Woodville, the daughter of Horace Lewis and Amelia Parker. She was a housewife, a member of the St. Matthews Church Usher Board, the St. Matthews Church Mother's Board and a past president of the State Usher League. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two daughters, Delia Ellison of Chicago and Eleanor Walker of New Orleans; one sister, Lucille Davis of New Orleans; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
