Dear Lamb.
		Yours from Benton. I only 
remind, but have been awaiting to 
hear from Canton(sp) in relation to ____ 
matters, then against me before  
but I dispair of getting any in___
=genu: On examination I find there 
are two in__ments in that court against 
me older than the one of Moore and 
would have the superior[?] lien, it will 
be totally useless then to attempt carry
=ing out the plan I spoke of_ and shall 
not fall/face just have to pay tho __ the desired 
debt the __ with it, this I will certainly 
do if I live.
	We have had a hard time here 
with the gr__ps, the like was seen known 
but thank heaven I am __ __ 
of it. ___ ___ am not __ __ 
of one have summoned not __ last month
