She was born May 14, 1922 in Glendive. She married Lt. Dick Kennedy in 1945, and they had five children, Robert, Kathy, Karen, Kelly and Susan.Cremation has taken place. Novich, Steve John died Dec. 29 in Butte. He was born Nov. 4, 1948 to Steve and Marge Novich. Funeral services were held Jan. 3 at Twin Bridges. Interment at Twin Bridges Cemetery. Jan. 14, 2004 Meagher, Edna, 95, died Friday at Powell County Medical Center. She was born Jan. 14, 1908 in Melrose to Dan and Margaret Turner. She married Dale McQueary, who preceded her in death. She then married Cliff Meagher, who survives her. She is also survived by her children Shirley, Pete, Dan and Ray. Rennewanz, Leonardo died Jan. 4 following hip surgery. He was born May 21, 1911 at Frazee, Minnesota to Frederick And Augusta (Bartz) Rennewanz. In 1938 he married Ella Arneson. Their children were Cheryl and Michael. Funeral services were held in Ennis with burial in Madison Valley Cemetery. Jan. 21, 2004 Maberry, Lillian, age 83, of Lewistown, died Jan. 14. She was born Jan. 8, 1921 in Balta, ND to John August and Sophia Anna (Bengston) Olson. She married Max Paul Maberry in 1946. They had 5 children: Marcia, Paulette, Yvonne, Rana and Guy. Funeral services were Jan. 19, with burial at Central Montana Memorial Gardens. Jan. 28, 2004 Virginia J. Pressley, 93, passed away January 25, 2004. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, July 29, 1910, to Edwin and Lila Janes. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, at Mountain View Cemetery in Dillon, officiated by Pastor Bush. Kallin Nicole Smith, age 12, died at her home in Powell, Wyoming on Saturday, January 17, 2004. She was born on September 17, 1991 in Powell, Wyoming to Scott B. and Barbara A. (Cummins) Smith. She is the granddaughter of B. J. Smith of Dillon. Funeral Services were Thursday, January 22, 2004 at the Powell Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Powell, Wyoming. Feb. 4, 2004 Wilbur G. "Duke" Gilbert, Jr, 89, died February 1, 2004, at Barrett Hospital & Health Care in Dillon. Mr. Gilbert was born June 9, 1914, in Dillon, the son of Wilbur G. and Flora H. Gilbert. Viewing will be held at Brundage Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Friday , February 6. Services will be Saturday, February 7 at 1 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, the Rev. Jane Shipp officiating. Masonic and American Legion services will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Evan Vernard Huntsman died Saturday, January 31, 2004, at the Parkview Acres Care & Rehabilitation Center, Dillon, Montana. He was born March 19, 1921, in Woodville, ID, at the family home to Evon W. and Martha (Gifford) Huntsman. Services were held Wednesday, February 4, 2004, at 1:00 P.M. at the Brundage Funeral Home, Dillon, MT. Internment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Dillon, MT. Merle J. McMannis, 81, of Hamilton, Montana died Monday, January 26 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton. She was born February 14, 1922 in Dillon, Montana, to the late Louis and Esther Stahl Schmittroth. A memorial service was held January 30 at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton with Pastor David Gerig officiating. Private famly urn placement will take place at Riverview Cemetery at a later date. Feb. 11, 2004 Wesley William Hunt, 81, a former Dillon resident, died Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at his home in Richland, Washington. He was born April 7, 1922, in Bottineau, North Dakota, the son of farmer William Edward and Post Mistress Sophia Elfreda Hunt. Graveside services were February 9, 2004 at Mountain View Cemetery. Lance O'Leary McCord, 72, of Medford, Oregon, died January 19, 2004 of cancer. McCord was born July 11, 1931 in Ridgeway, Montana, to Edward and Mabel (Logan) McCord. At his request, no funeral services were held. Feb. 25, 2004 Dorothy Phyllis Dansie, 89, died Feb. 14 in Dillon. She was born Jan. 25, 1915 in Salt Lake City, UT to Phyllis and Wallace Woolley. In 1939 she married Paul Talmage Walton of Salt Lake City. They had one daughter, Holly Walton-Buchanan of Reno, NV. She requested no memorial service. Larry Lyle Fournier of Penrose, Colorado died Feb. 18, 2004. He was born Nov. 27, 1941 in Beatrice, NE, to William Lyle Fournier and Ethel Hallie (Van Laningham) Fournier. He was raised in Armstead. He married Mary Louise Harwood in 1960 in Butte. He is survived by his wife and children Laurie Bundy, Rene Henry and Chris Fournier. No services were held. Dixie D. McClure, 77, died Feb. 22, 2004. She was born in St. Louis, MO, on Oct. 11, 1926 to George and Botilda McBlain. She married John McClure in 1945. She is survived by her husband and children George and John McClure and Veralyn McManus. Interment was in Penrose, Wyoming. March 10, 2004 Curtis Dickerson, 88, of Dillon died at Barrett Hospital on February 25, 2004. He was born May 15, 1915 in Somerset, Kentucky to John and Rebecca Dickerson. Funeral services with military honors by American Legion Post #20 were held Monday. David Eugene Edgecomb, 51, died at his residence in Butte, Montana on Valentine's Day weekend, following an extended illness. David was born September 28, 1952. Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at a later date. Hazel D. Ford died February 25, 2004 at home with her family alongside her. Hazel was born on April 11, 1926 to John N. Foster and Edna Stone Foster in Warsaw, Missouri. Services were held Tuesday, March 2 at Brundage Funeral Home in Dillon. Agnes Elizabeth (Murphy) Gransbery died Tuesday, February 24, 2004 in Boise, Idaho at the home of her daughter JoAnn, with whom she has lived for the past eight years. Agnes was 89. A Funeral Mass was held March 1 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Dillon. John Mayfield, 87, of Pahrump, Nevada, died March 1, 2004 at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center.John was born in Dillon on March 3, 1916. Gustav G. Weberg, 92, died at Parkview Acres Care and Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, February 24, 2004. Gus was born on May 23, 1912 in Park River, North Dakota, the oldest of four children born to Halvor and Martha (Swenson) Weberg. Funeral services were held Monday, March 1 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dillon.
