He leaves to mourn his loss, three daughters and two sons aside from his daughter and son here. Mrs. S.A. Cook and John H. J.P. Flinders, propietors of the Hotel Chinook. The other are: G.B. and Samuel C Flinders and Mrs Marey E. Hawley of Sutherland, Ia: Minnie E. Stirling of Kansas; Mrs. Annie M. Gutn of Claire, Iowa. Two other children are dead. He was married to Maria Challand, Aug. 1st 1850 at Hottingham, from there they moved to East Bridgeford, then to Scranton, then bank to Nottingham and from there they came to America landing in this countryin the year 1865, and settling in Shabbona,Ills. On October 14, 1882 he was bereft of his loving wife to whom he never ceased to mourn. In the early summer of 1892 he arrived in Chinook and resided he continuously since.
