The funeral will be held here Monday. Born in Sweden, March 20 1858, Newberg came to American 60 years ago and had resided in this area, mining and ranching, since that time. With Ed Olcott, a resident of Red Lodge, Newberg was one of the first to engage in mining here. He had resided on his ranch near here the last 36 years. Survivors include a daughter, Julia Newberg, and two sons, Ard and John, all of Red Lodge. He has three nephews in New York and three nieces in Minneapolis.
