Armistead, a white man, aged twenty-three years, born at Nashville in the of State of Tennessee and now residing at Red Lodge in the County of Carbon, State of Montana and son of John T. Armistead and Goody Armistead, whose maiden name was Goody Douglas with Bessie Ethel Simpson, a white woman, aged sixteen years, born at Ivy in the County of Lyon, State of Kansas and now residing at Red Lodge in the County of Carbon and State of Montana, and daughter of Peter O. Simpson and Ordelia Simpson whose maiden name was Ordelia Lucas. (Neither has been previously married). Said parties being of sufficient age to be capable of contracting marriage and there being no legal impediment thereto, by any person or officer authorized by statute to perform such ceremonies. Todd, a man, whose color is white; whose residence is Red Lodge; whose age is 25 years; born at Missouri County of Macon and State of Missouri and who has not been previously married or divorced; his father's Christian and Surname was Herman Todd; his mother's Christian and Maiden name is Nancy Mitchell; and Johanah Elizabeth Simpson, a woman, whose color is white; whose residence is Red Lodge; whose age is 17 years; born at Liberal, County of Barton and State of Missouri and who has not been previously married or divorced; her father's Christian and Surname is P.O. Simpson; her mother's Christian and Maiden name was Estella Lucas; both parties being legally competent to enter into such contract of Marriage.
