Memorial service will be at 2 this afternoon in the 
O'Conner Memorial Chapel for Richard D. Skelton, 39, 
20? 8th St. N. Cremation has taken place. Skelton died 
Wednesday of an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound.

Born in Great Falls, Skelton has attended local schools.
He worked as a laborer on construction jobs in Alaska 
and Montana.

Surviving are his wife, Rosemary and a daughter Crystal
Rose, both of Great Falls; a son Calvin of Seattle, his 
father, John, Great Falls; Mother Clara J. Skelton, 
Wilsail; two brothers Jack of Missoula and James of 
Great Falls; and grandmother Sadie Skelton , Great 
Falls.
