Miss Dorothy Mae Schmitz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Schmitz of Lewistown, 
MT, became the bried of LT Howard Schwendlers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewo W. 
Schwendler, 5 Morey Avenue, Dansville, NY, on Thursday, Sept 23rd at St. Ann's 
Cathedral at 7:30 a.m. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. 
Francis Saksa. The attendants were Miss Mary Helen Eckmann and Lt. Raymond 
Kenny of Gore Field, Great Falls, MT. A wedding party was held at the Officers' 
Club at Gore Field. Lt. and Mrs. Schwendler left on a short wedding trip to the 
western part of the state and upon their return will make their home in the 
Tremont apartments in Great Falls. Mrs. schwendler graduated from Dodson High 
School and Northwestern Business College in Spokane. Lt. Schwendler is a 
graduate of the Dansville Central High school and attended Syracuse Univ before 
entering the Flying Corps. He is now assistant base Executive Officer at Gore 
Field.
