Funeral Services For Mrs. Minnie Schultz Held Here Monday
  Funeral servics for Mrs. Minnie B. Schultz, 94, were held at the St. 
Margaret Marys Catholic Church on Monday morning, August 9, at 10 o'clock, 
with Father Baltussen conducting Mass.
  Pallbearers were Bernard Sonksen, Ed Giebel, Erwin Crofoot, George Corbey, 
Millard Dumas, and William Crofoot.
  Interment was made in the family plot in the Big Sandy Cemetery.
  Minnie B. Schultz was born on June 22, 1860, at Bordon, Germany, and passed 
away on August 6, 1954, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rosa May.
  At the age of 18, Mrs. Schultz came to this country and settled in Iowa.  In 
1882, she was married to R. Schmid.  To this union two children were born.  
After living in Honolulu and California, she came to the Warrick community 56 
years ago.  In April 1898, she was married to Franck Schultz, who preceeded 
her in death in 1930.  Her only son, Max Schmid, preceeded her in death in 
1950.
  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Rosa May, with whom she made her home 
for several years.  A year ago, they moved into Big Sandy from the Warrick 
community.  Although she has been an invalid for many years and suffered much 
she never complained.
  She was a member of the Catholic Church and although she was unable to go to 
church in recent years, she never forgot her Christian faith and spent hours 
saying prayers for others sorrows.  Her unselfish friendship will be greatly 
missed by all who knew her.
