C. McDonald Many friends attended the funeral of Mrs. J. C. McDonald yesterday afternoon. The cortege proceeded from the family residence, 115 East Fourth street, to the First Presbyterian church, where services were conducted by Rev. H. A. Carnahan, D. D. The pallbearers were John M. Knox, Charles D. Demond, H. H. Logan, David Grattan, George Wallace and Delbert Grush. The body was laid to rest in the cemetery on the hill. Georgina Campbell saw the light of day in Durness, Sutherlandshire, Scotland. She was born on Oct. 5, 1852, and died in Phoenix, Ariz., whither she had gone in quest of health, Dec. 24, 1909. She had reached her fiftieth year. She was united in marriage to J. C. McDonald at Springburn, Glassgow, Scotland, on Dec. 17, 1875. They came to American in 1887, and lived first in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. From there they removed to Brainerd, Minn,; from Brainerd to Missoula, and from Missoula to Anaconda in 1899. Six children were the issue of this marriage. Three have passed away, two in Springburn, Glasgow, and one in Brainerd, Minn., and three survived, Agnes, John and Georgia. Mrs. McDonald had lived the Christian life since making her profession when about 12 years of age. She loved and honored her Master and always enjoyed the services of God's house, and, while anxious to get well, yet was ready to obey His will. An though it is sad to have had to die so far fromhome, she was as ready to met the call there as her within the walls of home.
