Fergus County Harold Bauman, 84, a longtime Roy rancher, died Friday morning in Billings hospital after an extended illness. He was born Feb 15, 1905, at Portage, WI, the son of Fred and Agnes Bauman. He moved to Montana in 1907 and lived in Hinsdale until 1909 when he moved to Washington to make his home. In 1913, he moved to a homestead 16 miles east of Roy and made his home in the Roy area most of his life. He received his early schooling in the Valley View School near Roy and attended Roy High School. He was a member of the Lewistown Eagles Lodge. survivors include a nephew, Monte Lund of Roy: a niece, Dolly Smith of Grass Range, two great-nephews, Tye Lund of Roy and Vaughn Smith of Grass Range: and three great-nieces, Terrena Young of Roundup; Joan Berg of Lewistown and Jacqueline Rich of Winifred. Funeral services will be from the Cloyd Chapel Tuesday at 1 p m, with burial to follow in the Lewistown City Cemetery. Friends wishing to do so may make memorials to the Roy History Committee the Library for the Blind and may be left at the funeral home. Funeral services for Harold Bauman were held Sept. 26 at Cloyd Chapel with the Rev. Dave McConnell officiating. Mr. Bauman. 84, died Sept 22 in Billings. Soloist Mary Seaholm sang "In the Garden”, "Home on the Range” and "Back in the Saddle Again” to the accompaniment of organist Barbara Harchenko pallbearers were Roy Barnett, Bob Coffee, Floyd Jackson, Linda Sikveland, Nick Spiroff and Alex Weingart Honorary pallbearers were Carl Brindley, John Brooks, John Carbon, Dick Hanson, Dick Kalina, Marcus Matovich, Al McRae, Torger Sikveland, Bob Weingart and Vince Wolf. Interment was in Lewistown City Cemetery
