Lewistown, MT - Fergus County

 Ralph M. Beatty of Lewistown, 70, died Tuesday morning at Valle Vista Manor after an illness which 
lasted two years.

 He was born in Lewistown August 19, 1911, the son of John and Ella Beatty.


Beattv was a graduate of Fergus High School and later attended college in Los Angeles for two years.

After his schooling he farmed and ranched with his family at Fergus

He served in the army during World War II. Following his military service he returned to Fergus and stayed 
there, retiring in 1979. 

In later years he had some business interests in Idaho Beatty was preceded in death by his mother in 1948 
and his lather in 1975l

He is survived by his stepmother. Myrtie Beatty of Fergus and three cousins. Evelyn Beatty of Lewistown, 
William Beatty of Scottsdale. Ariz.. and Nan Shore of Helena.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 9 at the Creel-Morrison-Retz Chapel beginning at 11 a .m Bill Lidell 
will preside with cremation to follow the services
