BROWN HELD HERE THURSDAY Funeral services for Mrs. Raymond H. Brown were held Thursday at the Creel Chapel, Rev. W. S. Traweek officiating. The remains were taken to Great Falls for cremation. Clyde Fredrickson sang “Abide with Me” and “Beneath the Cross of Jesus” at the services. Nina Fargher Brown was born November 12, 1905 in the Isle of Man, off the coast of England. Her parents brought her to the United States at the age of five. She was one of 11 children. Mrs. Brown taught in Fergus County schools for a number of terms and was well known in Lewistown and surrounding communities. She had been in ill health prior to her death Monday. Surviving are her husband and five children: Bill, Lorraine, Lenore, LeRay, and Barron of Lewistown,; two sisters, Mrs. Cornelius M. Lund of Lewistown and Mrs. Harold Deffinbaugh of Beaver Creek and a brother, William Fargher of Winnett, also her mother Mrs. Mary Fargher of Tacoma, and the following brothers and sisters, all of who survive her; Mrs. H A Watts, Robert Fargher of Conrad; Mrs. Lloyd Deffinbaugh and Larry Fargher of Omaha, Dick, Mabel and Edna Fargher all of Tacoma.
