Horacek, formerly of Lewistown, of Rowland Heights, CA died suddenly October 23rd at his home. He was born in Lewistown and attended local schools. He married Ruth Anne Fink April of 1948 in Hilger. He served in WWII until his discharge in 1947. Horacek worked as a mechanic in Lewistown and moved to Cut Bank where he operated a farm. He then moved to California where he worked for Chevrolet and later for GMC. He was employed by GMC motors at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife Ruth; four sons Jim, Bob, Kenny and Bill; four daughters, Evelyn, Marie, Liz and Kathy; his mother Bessie Landa Horacek and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Joe. Burial was Wednesday in California.
