Lewistown, MT. Fergus County

Perry Kalal. 18. son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry E. Kalal. formerly of Roy. drowned Monday morning when he 
apparently was caught in an eddy while  attempting  to  swim across the Bitterroot river

The body was recovered Monday below the Buckhouse Bridge near Missoula.

Perry was born in Lewistown July 2. 1949. He started elementary school in Roy and graduated  from  high  
school there last year.  The family now lives at Missoula
 Survivors include  his parents; three sisters. Mrs. Linda Rasmussen  of Ulm. Laurie Ann, Kathy and 
.Jacqueline of Missoula: two brothers. Danny and Keith: grandparents Mrs. Stanley Folda, Moore. Ed Kalal 
of Roy. Carl A Larsen and Leona Davis. both of Lewistown: three uncles Dick Kalal, Arthur Larson of 
Lewistown. and Larry Larson of Great Falls; and three aunts.  Mrs. Joan Jakes, Mrs. Hans Anderson,  Great 
Falls. and Janet Kananen of Roy.
