Lewistown Paper 10-19-1984 Lewistown, MT, Fergus County Richard Blaine Komarek Sr., 70, of Lewistown and a former Roy area rancher, died Tuesday evening at the Central Montana Hospital after an extended illness. Komarek was born Nov. 11, 1913, at. Roy, the son of Richard and Emily Komarek. He received his schooling at the Cimrhakl School and had lived all his life in the Roy area until his retirement in 1978, when he moved to Lewistown to make his home. On Dec. 2, 1935, he married T. Lucille Kauth in Lewistown. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Lewistown. Komarek is survived by his wife Lucille of Lewistown; one son, Blaine of Worden; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Betty) Anderson of Roundup; three brothers, Joe (Speed) and George both of Roy and Albert of Spokane, WA; three sisters, Mary Pollard of Lewistown, Mrs. Ollis (Lillian) Staton of Clawson, MI, and Mrs. George (Annie) Smith of Grass Range; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents and one daughter Jean Larson. Funeral services for Komarek were from the Cloyd Funeral Chapel Friday at 2 p.m. Father Mike Ley of St. Leo’s Catholic Church officiated with internment in the Lewistown City Cemetery. Friends wishing to do so may make memorials to the American Lung Association and may be left at the funeral home.
