He was born May 18. 1910, in Spaulding. NE., son of George and Lillie Martin He came to the Valentine area with his parents in 1916 where he resided until 1951 Al that time he moved to the Great Falls area to work in the smelter. Hp moved to Billings in 1964 and became a custodial engineer at Eastern Montana College. He retired and returned to Lewistown in 1974. He was married on March 31, 1931. He is survived by his wife. Helen; three daughters. Hazel G. Lane, Lake ELsmore, CA., Doris N Bourke of Billings and Marie Ridgeway of Stanford: two sons. Leon H. Martin of Roundup and Ben Martin of Raynesford; five sisters. Gertrude Dodd of Lewistown, Clara Noble of Great Falls, Marion Harvey of Phoenix, AZ, Ivel Bickler of Anaheim. CA, and Melba Terpack of Corona. CA.; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will he held Oct. 10, at 2 p m, in the Creel-Morrison-Retz Chapel with the Rev Gordon Parke officiating. Burial will he in the Lewistown City Cemetery.
