Martinson, 92, died Wednesday afternoon at the Central Montana Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Creel-Morrison-Retz Chapel with Rev. Peter Hovland officiating. Military honors Were given at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials to the Central Montana Hospital are preferred by the family and they may be left at the funeral home. Martinson was born Sept., 10, 1892 in Osage, IA the son of Harry and Sina Martinson. He received his school in North Dakota. He came to Lewistown in the mid 1920s and worked for Fred Briggs before starting his own plumbing business. He retired in 1974 and the past few years has been busy cutting wood. He married Ina Roy Oct. 20, 1934 in Lewistown. He was a member of the Elks, American Legion, VFW, Lewistown . Eagles Lodge, Lewistown Volunteer fire department and Plumbers Union No. 139 of Great Falls. He is survived by his wife, Ina Martinson of Lewistown; one son and daughter-in-law. Robert and Barbara Martinson; one sister, Emma Wadsworth of Seattle, WA; and several nieces and nephews.
