Morris dies Tuesday George Henry Morris, 84, Lewistown, died early Tuesday evening at the Central Montana Hospital after a lengthy illness. Morris was horn June 6. 1886 at Manchester, England, the son of Mr. and Mrs John Morris He received his education in the Manchester schools, and came to the United States in 1911, living in Nebraska for one year. He came to Montana in 1912. and settled in the Denton area. In 1913, he homesteaded in the Everson community where he ranched until ins retirement in 1955. At this time he moved to Denton where he lived for one year and then to Danvers on Warm Spring Creek until 1964. In 1964, he moved to Lewistown where he made his home until the time of his death On December 18. 1918, he was married to Lillie A Cope Lewistown. Morris was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Denton. He is survived by his wife of Lewistown: two sons. Charles n of Scottsdale. AZ, and Herbert A. of Lewistown: seven grandchildren, and 18 nieces and nephews Funeral services for George Henry Morris will be from the Cloyd Funeral Chapel Friday at 2 p m with Rev Arthur Heath of the First Methodist Church officiating Interment will follow in the Lewistown City Cemetery Funeral services for George Henry Morris were held Friday afternoon from the Cloyd Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Arthur Heath officiating. William Snapp, Jr., sand “Whispering Hope”, accompanied by Mrs. Wallace Olson organist. Pallbearers were Arthur Allen, Tressler Allen, Harold Lee, Duane Ridgeway, Trent Rowe and Kenneth Walton.
