Mr. Riley was one of the first men to prospect in the Maiden district. He left a will under which his estate will all go to the Maiden school district, to be used, he directed, for the benefit of the school children. Mr. Riley had no living relatives, so far as he could ascertain. He was a native of New York and coming to Montana soon made his way to this section, Fergus county not having been created at that time. His funeral will be held tomorrow from St. Leo's church.
