He leaves a fine ranch, some cattle and several hundred dollars in the bank, which will go to his sister, Barbara Joaquina de Mendonca of New Bedford, Mass. Silvers was a native of Portugal. He was a sailor and rounded Cape Horn 50 years ago. He lived the life of an adventurer in California in the early days. Coming to Montana, he first located at Helena, and a few years later came to what is now Lewistown.
