Stephens, 81~ died Tuesday at the Central Montana Hospital after a 0ne-week illness. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p. m. at the Creel-Morrison-Retz Chapel with Rev. Gordon Parke officiating. Interment will be City Cemetery The daughter of John H and Lillian Stephens. she was born Jan. 8, 1902 in Lewistown. Miss Stephens was educated in the Lewistown schools and graduated from Fergus High School in 1921 She was employed by the telephone, company for 43 years, retiring in 1967 She was located at Conrad, Fort Benton. Glasgow Shelby and Lewistown while employed by Mountain States Tel and Tel. She was a member Of the Sons and Daughters of the Montana Pioneers and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She is survived by four sister. Ruth Wright and Lucille Langford, both of Lewistown, Mary Carter of Glendive and Martha Swanson of Fairview; two brothers, Barney Stephens ,f Lewistown "and Bob Stephens of Lebanon, OR; and many nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Joe, George and Jack Stephens
