Trimble, 88, a resident of Central Montana for many years, were held Monday afternoon at the Cloyd Funeral Chapel. Pastor Harold Lover of the Denton Bible Church officiated. Rev. Paul Goodman sang "The Old Rugged Cross", accompanied by Mrs. Leonard Langford, organist. Pallbearers were Edwin Barnett, Bob Catron, Ronald Lewis, Paul Nelson, Norris Moffitt and Earl Von Lindern. Named as honorary pallbearers were Henry Christensen, Ray Distad, Leonard Eld, Ray Marr, Roland Matthews, Olaf Negaard and Roy Taylor. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Trimble died Saturday evening at the Central Montana Hospital after a short illness. He was born May 5, 1885, in Noddaway County. Mo., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Trimble. He was educated in Missouri. On Oct. 22, 1913, he married Della E. Mead in Herkimer, KS. They moved to Montana in 1914 and ranched in the Valentine area until 1949 when he retired and they moved to Lewistown. Trimble was a member of the Eagles Lodge. Survivors include the widow of Lewistown: one son. George Trimble, Billings; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Grace) Hill. Casper. WY., and Mrs. John R. (Eva) Rolen,. Altamont, UT: one brother, Harry Trimble, Colorado Springs, CO.; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Jessie) Wierman, Topeka, KS., and Mrs. Clarence (Ruby) Dailey, Enid, OK.: eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
