Former resident dies Mae Alta Walker, 92, passed away ~ursday, June 26 of naaral causes at a Great Falls nursing home. She was hoot Sept. 28, 1904, in Scattsbluff, Neb., to Gusty and Barbara Kauth. The family moved to Montana when she was a small child. They settled first in the Foy area and also lived in WinneU. In 1925 she married Ferry J. Waller in Le\uistown. He worked as a barber in Winnett and Denlon. As a couple they operated a grocery Store in Denton from 1945 to 1969. He preceded her in death in 1979. She moved to Great rails in 1991. She is survived by one daughter, Marie Martin of Shelby; one granddaughter, Belly Phillips King of Great Falls: and one grandson, Ferry Earl and Patty Phillips, also of Great Falls. Wallers also raised two children from infancy, Harold Danzer of Spokane andBudDanrer, deceased. Memorial services will be canducted Tuesday, July 1 in the Creel Funeral Home m Lewistown at Z p-m- Following the memorial service, the family will host a reception at the Yogo inn for friends and relalives from 2:30 to 6 pm; Creel Funeral Home of Lewistown is in charge of cremauoll services and memori~l service.
