Wilson, 86, Lewistown, who operated the Wilson Real Estate Ca., died Wednesday morning, April 5, at a nursing home of natural causes. Florence was born in Lewistown Jan. 18, 1909 to Nicholas and Rachel Welter. She was educated in the Welter and Winnett schools. In 1925, she married Cecil Kauth in Winnett and they divorced in 1945. Florence worked at Eagers Store in Winnett for many years and came to Lewistown in 1942 to work for Power Mercantile Co., staying there until 1946. That year she went to St. Helens, OR, to manage a drugstore. In 1949 she moved back to Lewistown to manage the Bootery. In 1952 she married Harold Wilson. Soon after that, she established her real estate business, from which she retired in 1982 She will be remembered by many young couples that she helped get into their own homes. Survivors include a daughter. Barbara Kremer of Lewistown: three granddaughters, Melanie Ellis of Franny, WY., Kathie Gilmore of Lewistown, and Colleen Ninker of Spokane, WA.: two grandsons, Jim Kremer of Lewistown and Hobson, and Robb Kremer of Lewistown: 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson: two sisters, Lucille Towers of San Jose, CA, and Katherine Jones of Portland, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Lewistown Art Center Scholarship Fund.
